Arrival and Relaxed Time at Negombo

Our representative will welcome you at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport with a paging board showing your name, and assist with practical arrangements such as exchanging cash and purchasing a local SIM card. Transfer to your hotel in Negombo, approximately 15 minutes depending on traffic.

Unwind after your journey, take a walk along the beach or enjoy a swim when you are ready.

Anuradhapura, the First Kingdom of Sri Lanka

After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 9:00 AM for a tour briefing. Depart around 9:30 AM for Anuradhapura, approximately 3½ hours away. Explore key attractions in the ancient city, then travel to Sigiriya in the late afternoon and check in to your hotel.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Wildlife at Minneriya

Leave around 5:15 AM for an optional sunrise climb at Sigiriya Rock Fortress. A later start can be arranged if you prefer. After breakfast, enjoy a Sri Lankan village experience with a cooking demonstration from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

In the afternoon, take a safari at Minneriya National Park, famous for large gatherings of wild elephants.

Dambulla Cave Temple and Kandy, the Last Kingdom

After breakfast, travel towards Kandy. En route, visit Dambulla Cave Temple, Nalanda Gedige and a spice garden in Matale, where you can learn about Sri Lankan spices and their production.

• Attend the Kandy cultural show, usually 5:00–6:00 PM

Beautiful Nuwara Eliya and a Scenic Train Ride

Travel towards Nuwara Eliya after breakfast. Visit a tea estate and factory, Ramboda viewpoint and Ramboda Falls, then explore Nuwara Eliya town and Gregory Lake Park.

• Transfer to Nanu Oya Railway Station around 2:30 PM
• Take the scenic train to Ella with reserved seats, subject to schedule and availability

Explore Beautiful Ella

After breakfast, explore Ella’s signature attractions. Depending on time, weather and your preferences, visit Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge and Flying Ravana zipline. Around 11:00 AM, begin the drive towards Yala and stop at Ravana Falls en route.

Game Drive at Yala and Transfer to the Beach

Leave the hotel around 5:30 AM for a morning safari at Yala National Park. Finish around 10:30 AM and take some time to refresh before heading towards Sri Lanka’s southern beaches.

• Possible stops at Weligama’s stilt fishermen and Coconut Tree Hill in Mirissa
• Visit Rekawa Beach near Tangalle if time and route allow
• Transfer to your beach hotel in Hikkaduwa, Beruwala or Bentota

Whale Watching and Explore Galle

Optional morning whale-watching tour, typically around 6:00–10:00 AM, usually departing from Mirissa and subject to sea conditions.
